Resource behavior is dynamic. Startup loads differently than steady state. Traffic patterns change through the day, and so do the conditions that trigger throttling, OOM kills, and evictions. The events that determine whether workloads run reliably don’t follow a schedule and don’t wait for a config review.

Boot-time optimization

Some workloads need significantly more CPU during startup than during normal operation. ScaleOps detects this automatically and temporarily raises CPU requests so pods start quickly and reliably, then reverts to steady-state values once the workload stabilizes.

Real-time burst reaction

When demand spikes, ScaleOps provisions additional CPU and memory based on live cluster signals, so performance, uptime, and SLAs hold under load. No manual intervention required.

Automatic pod healing

ScaleOps detects CPU throttling, OOM kills, stressed nodes, noisy neighbors, and failing health probes, and resolves them as they happen, intercepting performance degradation before it reaches production.

In-place pod resize

ScaleOps uses native Kubernetes In-Place Pod Resize to keep CPU and memory on running production workloads aligned with real demand. No restarts, no evictions, no rollouts.

Ephemeral storage optimization

Ephemeral storage issues silently cause pod evictions, node pressure, and wasted capacity. ScaleOps continuously rightsizes ephemeral storage based on actual usage and prevents storage exhaustion before it triggers an eviction.

Replica threshold optimization

ScaleOps dynamically manages min and max replica counts and triggers based on actual demand and live application behavior, anticipating traffic surges so replicas are already running when the load hits.

Java Optimization

Accurate sizing for JVM-based services. ScaleOps accounts for heap behavior and garbage collection patterns that don’t map cleanly to standard Kubernetes resource configs.

Spot Optimization

ScaleOps continuously learns where each workload’s latency actually starts to degrade and finds the highest threshold it can sustain without breaching SLA, replacing the static guess with the real ceiling.
